Circulon's 3-qt. saucier can be used for sauces and for boiling potatoes or blanching fresh string beans. The lid features Circulon's exclusive straining holes that allow you to drain liquids, taking the place of the traditional colander.

The lid locks in place while you drain. There are large holes on one side and smaller ones on the other. About Circulon 2: Circulon 2 offers an exclusive food release system - TOTAL Hi-Low Food Release - that is guaranteed to outlast all other nonstick cookware.

More than just a nonstick, the Circulon 2 TOTAL food release system is a combination of improved Hi-Low wave technology and the most advanced nonstick formula available. This exclusive food release system has been aggressively tested and proven to outlast other nonstick surfaces. The Hi-Low wave technology also protects the nonstick surfaces from abrasion.

The pans' hard-anodized aluminum construction is twice as strong as steel and offers perfect heat distribution with no hot spots. The phenolic (heat-resistant plastic) handles are ergonomic, slip-free and cool for confidence while you cook. The handles are oven-safe to 350 degrees.
