This version allows the user to have a digital kitchen timer with built-in roasting temperature probe, with user-settable alert temperatures, PLUS a removable remote beeper that sounds an alert when the time or desired temperature is reached. The food probe plugs into the base, the user sets the alert temperature, and the remote beeper sounds the alert. Display choice of timer or alert / probe temperatures.

Insert the food probe into the meat and run the wire through the oven or barbecue door to the timer unit. Set your target food temperature, and when it is reached, the oven thermometer's alert will sound, and the pager will beep up to 100 feet away. If you don't need the probe, you can still set the timer for count-up or count-down and receive a page 100 feet away when your designated time is reached.

Pager use is optional.
