This steamer insert is designed to work with 2.5- and 4.5-quart Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Sauce Pans and Lids, perfect for steaming vegetables, dumplings and seafood. It features a bowl or "tulip" shape, so steam can easily penetrate the entire surface bottom, quickly and evenly steaming your food. Two wide handles on each side add convenience for lifting and transporting.
