This 9-inch pie dish by Chantal bakes then presents individual entr©es or dessert pies with glossy, inviting cheer. Framed by a decorative fluted edge, the little ceramic vessel features 2-inch-high sides deep enough to fill with layers of mouth-watering ingredients from Irish beef and potatoes to Southern-style peach slices. The thick stoneware construction bakes evenly and provides excellent heat retention to keep food warm throughout a meal.

Smooth and nonporous, the glaze won't retain food odors and is strong enough to hold up to metal utensils, so the dish fits in perfectly at the dining table. As with all of Chantal's high-quality ceramic bakeware, this versatile piece can go from freezer to oven, broiler, or microwave without cracking or crazing. Chantal Ceramic Bakeware carries a limited warranty for 1-year against cracking, crazing or fading.

The warranty guarantees replacement at no charge of any piece of Chantal Bakeware for defects in material or workmanship under normal use following the use and care instructions. Can be put in the dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer. For occasional dried-on food, sprinkle with a teaspoon of baking soda and water and scrub with a nylon or plastic scrubber.

Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach and other strong cleaners. Do not use on gas or electric stovetop. Not recommended for broiler use.

To prevent chipping or breakage, do not drop, over-stack or knock against sides of sink. Before microwaving frozen meals, thaw in refrigerator for the best results. Do not run cold water into a hot dish, cracking could occur from sudden temperature change.
