Professional and stylish, this 1-qt. sauce pan can be used for simmering a marinara sauce or cooking oatmeal. New from Henckels, the sauce pan features an exclusive handle that provides optimal control, comfort and balance.

The unique hollow-cast handle connects to the pan in a V-shape, keeping the handle cooler while using on the stovetop. The sauce pan has a flared rim for easier pouring. Following in the footsteps of its legendary cutlery lines is the new Henckels Classic Clad cookware made of the finest, multi-ply clad materials.

Specially packaged, each piece arrives in its own cloth bag with drawstring closure. The soft bag (one for the pan and one for the lid) prevents scratches when storing and dust from collecting; it also makes a handsome gift for giving. On the outside, a mirror finish, magnetic stainless steel offers professional looks so popular in today's kitchens while an 18/10 satin stainless steel interior helps disguise the signs of wear and tear.

Sandwiched in-between is a layer of thick aluminum. All provide the maximum heat conductivity for superior cooking performance. The pan's interior has curved contours (not hard, right angles) so food particles won't stick and cleanup is quick.

And to help you with measuring, all of the pans in this collection (except the fry pans) come with capacity markings (quarts and liters) on the inside so you know just how high to fill. The domed lid helps foods self-baste, locking-in vitamins and moisture. Versatile, the sauce pan can be used on a variety of cooking surfaces (electric, gas, ceramic, halogen and induction), is broiler- and oven-safe up 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
